We offer a cost inclusive package to help you budget your event, thereby circumventing the additional surprises that you would find in other facilities.

You'll have the benefit of a unique and clean facility, state of the art sound system, large video screen, free Wi-Fi access, multiple seating arrangements, one level access, lots of free parking and professional staff ready to help you with your needs. What you won't find are inflexible scheduling, loud conventions disrupting your meeting, last minute scrambles to locate staff or missing items, or extra charges. Our conference center offers a wide range of options that support events including day meetings, trade shows, wedding receptions and special celebrations. Portage la Prairie is centrally located on the Trans Canada Highway and near the Yellowhead Highway. The Glesby Centre is located conveniently in downtown Portage la Prairie with easy access to stores and shopping. When a meeting has been called, you need to book dates and times that fit your time frame. Unlike facilities that depend on large out-of-town convention business, we can guarantee reservations for local customers well in advance and often on short notice.

Most meetings these days involve some sort of audio/visual equipment: LCD panels, Video Projectors, Overheads, Flipcharts, TV/VCR, Audio and Video. The equipment that we provide is well maintained and state-of-the-art, and our staff is well trained on the use and setup, so that everything is guaranteed to function as you expect.
